One thing I love about Lois Ehlert’s books is her realistic creations. Her plants look like real plants, and she identifies them for those interested in knowing their names. At the end of the book, Ehlert includes lots of facts about the plants and animals in her books for those scientifically-minded preschoolers who love the details.
Recommended for ages 2 years to 6 years.
