Fortunately, the young girl in Marjorie Priceman’s How to Make a Cherry Pie and See the U.S.A. has some great ideas. As an added bonus, if you follow the directions, you’ll get to see most of the United States. Of course, there’s a lot of work involved…
Like mining, picking cotton, digging clay, cutting wood… just to name a few.
But the best part is – the cherry pie at the end of the whole process.
I would call this a companion book to Priceman’s How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World – another delightful picture book.
Recommended for ages 2 -8.
