The picture book More by I.C. Springman follows a magpie obsessed with collecting more and more things, until disaster strikes.

Fortunately, her field mice friends are there to help her, and the magpie learns a lesson about purging her stuff.

Brian Lies drew life-like illustrations which could generate some fun discussions with children: naming everything the magpie has collected, trying to find the magpie in the midst of all her stuff, etc.

Parents will enjoy that each page has very few words, making this picture book a quick read if needed.

Recommended for ages 2 to 7.
