Albert the duck is the carpenter at Pleasant Valley School. One day he comes to work and finds a note from the principal, asking him to build an alphabet for the children.
Albert has tools and a box of wood, but he soon finds it’s not enough to get through the entire alphabet.
He comes up with some pretty creative solutions – especially for the letter Z!
Albert’s Alphabet by Leslie Tryon is full of pictures of Albert building his alphabet, and very few words – perfect for a snuggle with a child who loves poring over pictures and figuring out how things are built.
Recommended for ages 6 months – 6 years.
